SES light (Help) Not sure if this is a correct forum but here goes nothing.
So I let my girlfriend drive my car (ss 02) to work today (roughly 30 miles from my house) she came back and told me on her way home the engine light came on. So I popped the hood, at this point is was hot as hell, and I notice a plastic safeway bag was covering the radiator, so I removed the bastard...Should I still go check out what's wrong? or could that bag covering the radiator on her way home cause the light to turn on? thx

Auto Zone will scan your code for free and tell you what it is.
