Ive seen a few 100% stock ones go 12.9's but don't believe that time! Seen some 12.1's with stall and gears

I believe tha article was 12.7 or 12.8 with Evan Smith driving the car. I do remember reading it. I do have a video of a friend of mine doing a 12.8 with a 100% bone stock 02 SS.
He mustve had it customly built for a 2 seater and a super weight stripper on top of that for that 2 happen

Video was not for the run of my car, but the one I ran "Brandon" (Blazen T/A) who ran a 12.8 @ 108.8 with a 100% stock 02 SS and his first time to the track.
I've just heard about it...talked to a guy that read the article and apparently it was like 61 degrees out and they admitted it was like a miracle pass and in like the next 20 attempts the closest they got was like a 12.6 or 12.7 said the article gave all the details about the run. I forgot the name of the track though, but will try to find out again.
On another note, if theres a good number of the ss cars going 12.8s then why do people think the cobra is so much faster stock vs stock?
