I'm not busting on T-top cars, just busting your bubble on some of your comments, just aren't quite right.
I exaggerated when saying the difference was little, IF ANY noticable difference at all.
The difference between t-tops and hardtops is little. I suppose you could differentiate the two from an extensive set of track tests i.e. slalom, skidpad, etc.
Right?
I'll go out on a limb to say there's absolutely NO difference in 0-60 times, 1320 times, and braking times between a hard top and a t-top f-body. Which is ALL I worry about, which is all MOST owners care about.
That's the only reason I said "Who buys a hardtop f-body based on performance?
I bet if Chevy made a Z06 in t-tops, it would sell more than the fixed roof. Like at least 2:1 more. Guys simply enjoy t-tops more overall.
I voted for hardtop but i just picked up a vert and will be swapping in my t5 from my 85z28 hard top and the 350 from it also into the vert so i will part out the hardtop when i'm done

Hardtop. Love that the top is painted same as the body color, makes a great looking coupe. With the way people are chopping up their tops in Ttop conversions I think its gonna be even more rare in the future lol. Cant say I havent on occasion wished I had it during the summer though...
T-tops for life, forever. This michigan winter is taking way to damn long to be over with, i miss the feeling of driving my beautiful camaro with my t-tops off, just cant explain the feeling of riding in the chevy.
