Default Coolant Overflow Volumes...

I have to dispose of my original coolant reservoir due to engine bay space. I have found a catch can that has .7qt capacity that can fit almost anywhere but am unsure if it will be enough. Any thoughts?

Mine almost never flows into the overflow and I drive it 100+ temperatures. It would depnd some on how big your radiator is too I guess.

See that's the thing I don't know for sure what rad I'm going with. Currently, I'm using a pursuit package caprice rad but if it causes me grief, i'm going with a custom aluminum one but...decisions decisions

I'm using a 0.7 quart (aka 2" diameter x 13" long) polished stainless overflow from Ecklers Classic Chevy. Item #211-61, $39.
