Check my post the one right on top of yours... Im trying to get the OBD2 connector but it is not availible here in Lebanon (my country) and noone in the states are accepting Credit Cards or Internet Cards they all want Paypal, and paypal dosn't list my country on their country list, so Im not being able to buy crap!!!
How did you get an Ls1 if you cant get an OBD2 connector? Honestly the obd2 connector is like a 5$ part in most junkyards and you can get one from ANY 1997 and later GM car. That gives you A LOT of options.
You could even send them cash in a box through the mail with your adress and have them send you the part back in the box.
Never did, where do I start where do I go? Banks send it? or companies?! and in their reply EFI connections said US Postal Service Money Orders only...
I'm supriised that only one person brought up the fact that you are not using the Coolant Temp Sensor? The CTS will not hooked up will tell the ECU that the car is cold and run rich as hell. Change your CTS and I bet all or most of your issues will go away.

A Saudi Arabia 1998 Camaro LS1 crashed in lebanon 2 years ago... I thought it was an LT1 at first, then went and saw the lovely manifold of the LS1 loool, I bought it immidiatly... do u know to what extent they don't know the LS1's worth, to the extent that I bought it with all wiring and 4L60e gearbox and ECU for only 1500$
Anyhow back to topic...
trust me sending money in mail in an arab country... HAHA u must be kiddin they already stole a necklace that I got for my Girlfriend from UK on our anniversary I guess money won't be hard to steal...
When I was young and lived in Saudi Arabia, I kept on nagging on Paypal and sending them emails they actually did listen to me and added Saudi Arabia to their list, Im trying to do the same thing from this country now... (Lebanon) hehe
The connectors may all be the same but are wired differently depending on the car make. For less hassles get a connector from a GM car then follow this diagram.

That btw is Most GM cars
If you can find an obd2 connector from a GM car they are so cheap usually I would just buy it, chances are better than not, that it'll work
The pins are all the same - OBDII is mandated by the US Federal Government and is based on the SAE J1962 standard. Those 4 wires are always the same so that scan tools will work across all models.
The problem is most likely a combination of either bad vacuum leak, bad MAF sensor, the fact that you have no coolant sensor, and the fact that you ran it without O2s and may very well have fouled your nice iridium plugs.
If you put a scan tool on it, it will tell which one of those things your problem is.

Vaccum Leak = True (PCV all broken not availible in my country)
Bad MAF = I doubt it... (I unplugged it and there was no difference so it actually is working)
Water Coolant Sensor = Broken which also means yes a Big conribution to the problem...
lol, ok sorry, hehe, I didn't mean to sound this furious about it hehe, anyhow yeah ur right nearly every question was answered its more like a wait to find out what happens when I actually install the parts... and Im also getting help on paying methods on how to pay for people or companies outside so I can actually get products abroad...

So what you are trying to tell me is that every post 1996 car has pin # 2 as the signal line? You need to read up on your OBD II basics.
A connector of a Chrysler car is not wired the same as one off a GM car.
SAE J1962 standardizes the connector but not the pins used.
To the OP stick with a GM connector and all you have to do is wire it as needed.

I am telling you that he can use any connector from any US 96 or later car.
Here is the full pinout list.
Pin 2 - J1850 Bus+
Pin 4 - Chassis Ground
Pin 5 - Signal Ground
Pin 6 - CAN High (J-2284)
Pin 7 - ISO 9141-2 K Line
Pin 10 - J1850 Bus
Pin 14 - CAN Low (J-2284)
Pin 15 - ISO 9141-2 L Line
Pin 16 - Battery Power
If this guy can't swap a pin when he has the wiring diagram then he might as well push his car off of a cliff now.
I did install the ECT sensor... and the car is bringing back good response, much better than before... what I have missing now is a PCV system, and the OBD-2 connector...
But what I really am not understanding is trying to go out of limp mode... how can I do that? and how can I know that Im actually in limp mode to start with?
If everything (PCV + ECT) are connected and both are working properly, will the ECU relearn to the new settings? and get out of limp mode? or do I have to reset it?
