DOH!! I mean 2 posts before it.

Check your power and grounds, there are several of each going into and out of the controller. Decode you codes, and look start checking those sensors.

hey bro, I'm actually facing a money problem, and am not being able to work things out... so I have the car on hold, I haven't fixed any problems on the car, I actually got a new problem, while I was cursing in my car, I heard a small pop, and my transmission isn't shifting anymore, its stuck in N all the time, not matter where I put it, it revs with no car movement...

I'm still a student, and am graduating soon, then I'll refocus on the car, cause now I'm literary BROKE!

Don't hesitate to hi-jack this thread its ok, the more solutions you find it will help me too, since we have similar problems...

THANKS

yup. If the toque converter isn't seated properly it will just break the ring in the pump that holds the vanes. An easy fix but if it a th400 in a dead thread then screw it.

if your car is gonna stay n/a, i reccomend going with th350, 6.0 flexplate and spacer, sbc 10" tq converter, arp flywheel bolts. th350 are genarally cheeper than th400 and more efficient n/a. lighter.

if your coolant temp senesor si f'd it could be giving it SO MUCH FUEL that you could permanently damage your engines rings... borewash baby...

at -40 an engine uses like 3x as much fuel if not more, have you ever tuned a car? this is the truth, either that or it could be dangerously lean

another thing to check is if your tstat is stuck shut or open

buy yourself an hp tuners console if you can get around emmisions and delete the pcv and delete the 2nd o2 sensors etc... my car has all of these things and works great...

but yea, replace the CLT sensor first and foremost...
