There are people making good power with the 5.3L especially with forced induction. The only disadvantage is the extra 75 lbs on the front of the car. If you are looking for a LS1 and a T56 I will have mine from the 240 up for sale as soon as it gets pulled from the car.

i did'nt realize that the 5.3 weighed more that answers that question.. You know how much you will be asking for the T56?

As far as picking this car up for next to nothing i think it was a once in a lifetime oppertunity and i jumped on it as soon as the guy offered it to me
