I like the idea of runnign a big cam and big compression with a turbo setup, and was looking into running my setup the same way. My cam is very similar to a Trex, and sompression is just above 12:1. On methanol I figured it would be a very nice working setup. I'd likely stay EFI on mine, but carburated with a distributer and a 7 series MSD would work also. I highly doubt the 6010 box would be happy at this power level, not to mention the amount of energy required to light that mix.
On mine I considered running the EFI for the fueling only, and then running the dist. for the ignition. Made sense to me anyway. I say go for it, but if your gonna do it, go big. In for a penny, in for a pound.
by the way, about ur harness, I will get back to you with an answer... sorry I might be a bit late, if it gets sold then my bad luck... Im just trying to put my funds together to get everything for the th400 swap...
Thanks its soooo close to starting. I just need to do the turbo tubing and get the msd box connect the cooling and fuel system. And the driveshaft to move it around
dude i love it. my dad had a 94' ss and it was always one of my favorites. im lookin to swapping a duramax/4l80e into one for my next project. a nice family crusier gettin 30 MPG and an easy 700 lb/ft. once againkeep up the good work and keep the pictures comin

heres a few good pics. still need to do final polishing, get some emblems and the centerline wheels. i also ordered up the boost gauge, the dual gauge philler pod. and a moroso switch panel. next is a painless muti circuit harness so i can get started on the electrical. i plan to delete ALL the underdash wiring.
well heres a veryyyyyyy good update. i sold a nova i had last week. so i ordered the 6010 msd box, compeition engineering steering column kit, the fuel lines, and alot of other misc stuff. and hopefully next week i take the car to my cousins shop to have it get a 10 point chromoly cage, mini tubbed, and some other welding stuff. i should have it started up as soon as do the hot turbo side, connect the fuel and electrical. veryyy veryy soon. and hopefully i can sell an s10 i have so i can buy the driveshaft and rearend and it will be ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
