My 1995 impala ss built ls1/th400 swap

well i been wanting to do this for about 6 months i finally i sold the lt1 well just the short block. so if u see something on the lt1 u like ill sell it! but im putting the ls1 i had a in a camaro had it refreshed and put cnc ported 806 heads,ms4 cam etc, most of the details of the build is in my sig. and for the swap i am using the street and performance motor mounts, a moroso oil pan made for a gen 1 camaro, ebay long tube fbody headers just incase i need to notch them i wouldnt want to do that do that do headers that cost alot. please ask me any questions you bbody guys might have. or anyone in general. ill post more stuff as i go.

nice swap why not relocate the coil packs to the fender (if there is any room) when done i think that would look clean

i would but those valve covers still look like crap cuz they have alot of holes. and they dont make aftermarket ones for perimeter bolt valve cover.

What harness,computer, and fuel rails are you using?

I am using a harness and computer from a 98 fbody. And I'm using the edelbrock fuel rails.

so far i deleted the wiper tank, wiper system, coolant tank, all the ac stuff (minus the box inside the car but will get to it later) heater core lines, front sway bar, still gotta take out all the seats and carpet (putting lighter carpet and just 2 kirkeys) everything unuseful under the dash. and other stuff here and there im going to try to get it at arount 3700 raceweight w/o me of course.

What are you planning to do for a hood? Keep the pics coming on this build. I'd like to see how those headers end up fitting.

I already have a 4 inch cowl hood sitting here I am very sure this intake setup I have won't clear the stocker. But the heads I know I am going to have to modify the 1st and 2nd. primary but how much I don't know. And today I took the wheel wells off. The evap cannister. And took the dash apart. Took out the air ducts, air box, a lot of padding and some random metal crap it has. Ill have more pics tomorrow when I start cleaning the engine bay.

heres more pics of the weight reduction i am deleteing the dash, center counsle, everything under the dash, seats gut out the rear doors, and putting an aluminum dash, competition engineering steering colum, kikey aluminum seats. so yes im selling the stock stuff.

Yes I am selling the counsle and there's some progress. More weight reduction. I'm going to get a hold of a washer tomorrow and clean the bay.
