Default LQ9 into a colorado

so i got a 2006 colorado 2WD reg cab and im wanting to do this swap.

The engine is the easy part as i know what i want and where to get it.

mainly i want to know is what parts do i need for the swap and how hard is it?

I wanna put a T-56 in it if possible since its already a manual.

I know i will have to put a new rear end in it also.

but besides a new radiator and motor mounts what will i need and is there any place that sells it?

Look on s10forum. http://www.s10forum.com/forum/lsx-discussion/

Guy on there named v8power has a Colorado, I think he put a cammed LS3 and a T56 in it and last time I looked, there was a Magnacharger parked on top of the motor.

There's also a guy named Jared on there that runs a performance co., his main business is doing LSx swaps and building LSx harnesses and if I remember right, he's done at least a half dozen Colorado harnesses before the factory V8 trucks came out. He also took a stock 5.3 Colorado and LS7 swapped it because his customer wanted something "stock" that was fast. This is his swap over on 355nation: http://www.355nation.net/forum/engin...ls7-alive.html

So it's safe to say that the T56 swap has been done. You can to use the stock V8 Colorado pan, mounts, radiator and probably even the harness. It might be a good idea to try to figure out what parts are V8-specific on the new Colorados. Here's a V8-swap how to: http://www.355nation.net/forum/engin...ks-videos.html

And another how-to (looks like at least one of these is written before the stock V8 stuff came out): http://www.355nation.net/forum/engin...d-v8-swap.html

I think most people who have done the swap so far have used the stock rear end and the magnacharged truck has been flogged and been down the 1/4 enough times that it probably would have broken already if it was a total weak POS.
