Default Taurus fan wiring

I'm installing a Taurus fan in my fbody and I'm stuck at the wiring portion of it. I bought a 75amp relay, I just can't seem to find anything that is useful to me. I have a Griffin radiator that is stood up, that's why the stock fans don't work. I only want the high speed wired up, which is the reason for the 75amp relay. I'm assuming that an inline fuse would be useful, but what amperage should I go with? What gauge wiring should I use and what pin for a 98 is for the fans? I have hp tuners so I can adjust when they come on without any problem. Thanks for the help!

30 is constant power 8awg
87 goes to power the fan 8awg
86 is for fan control 16-18awg
85 is ground 16-18awg

and then use 8awg for ground straight from the fan.
What size inline fuse?

How does that sound?

That sounds like it will work..put a 15A Fuse on the 86 Wire for safe measure. Also try to get that Wire for that 86 to some from an Ignition wire..one that is hot with the Key on.

For the 85 wire make that come from the Fan Control Wires in the PCM.

Why would it matter if it is switched or not? It won't come on until the computer tells it to right?

I don't understand what you mean..for the Computer to control it you will have to have the 85 wire coming from the control Wire that is from the PCM.

I was talking about the constant vs. switched power. I just put pin 30 on a switched source on the front fuse box.

I thought the 86 was the pin that uses the PCM and 85 was a ground.

Here is the schematic I found. Instead of using the controller, just use the pcm in it's place.

Other way around.. 86 is the power from the IGN..85 is the side from the PCM. The PCM grounds it out and activates it.

I got it wired up the way the schematic shows and it works.
