the stock throttle cable from the wrx worked
1. drilled out cable end on throttle body
2. Flipped around throttle bracket
cable works great lol

That doesnt look like an Iron block, looks aluminum. Did you paint it siver?

It must've been painted silver, but you can still see tidbits of it rusting, so I'd guess it is in fact iron

Post #18 second picture down , you can see that theres a blank boss on the block. Iron blocks are blank. If it was aluminum it would be drilled and tapped from the factory for the alternater.

ive touched up the paint on the transmission since these pics.
im still waiting on my valve covers and corvette engine covers to come back from being painted....they are subaru rally blue.

cobra 8.8 or nissan....or even a gto...its in the corner of my garage allready.....its supposed to go in the s2000 though

well im not sure specifically which rear is already in that year wrx but they use alot of the same rear ends as the nissans like the r160,r180,r200 etc so that would probably be your best bet as far as fitment goes. For that much power I would suggest the r200 if you go the nissan route.

What manifolds did you use? Did you have to modify the transmission tunnel? Can you use the stock steering components? Keep up the good work!
