Default G-Body LQ4 swap headers..NEED HELP

Are there anyother options besides the brp set.. i have an 87 cutlass imusing stock motor mounts with transdapt 4592 plates ...im pushing the motor back to keep my original tranny & driveshaft location...and using a cts-v oil pan

are there any other headers i can use ?...the brp's are nice but they cost way too much...

Ive heard 98-02 f body pace setter headers will work, but the passenger side will need some massaging to get it to fit, drivers side is supposed to fall into place. Or you can buy some ls1 flanges and make a set...

i was thinking of getting a set of LS exhaust flanges for like $70 and taking a pair of sbc heads and cutting the tubes and having someone weld them to the flanges..think it could possibly work just as good if not better than a set of $400 + dollar brp headers

What about using BBC headers?? Those primaries are better spaced for the LS. Just a thought

Someone mentioned that the TSP F-body headers worked. They were using a Th400 trans and had to cut off the ears, other wise they said they dropped in with plenty of clearance.
