This will be a blast! I'm getting ready to put a little 75 shot on mine, and can't imagine how it will be. You are going to have your hands full... in a good way.

Here are the latest pictures.

I'm always down for Infineon Raceway! I think traction is going to be my number 1 enemy! These bfg drag radial are going to be put to a test!

You Miata people really make me want to build one.
What does one of those cars weigh once it's finished?
Is it nose heavy?
...and the final obvious question... how does it drive?

Very nice build. I really like your h/c choice, it should make great low end torque.

Can you post some pics of the whole car for us? I would like to see the its stance with the 9" wheels.

The car should be 50/50 weight distribution. It should be around 2450-2600lbs. Keep in mind that the stock motor was an iron cast motor and I actually removed all the airbag/safety stuff.

The car got corner balanced today but I didn't call the shop for the results. I'll let you know the results on Monday. I haven't drove the car home yet but I'm picking it up early next week, so I'll let you know how it drives.

I'll get some more pics but here are some old ones:

Do they make any flares like what the new miatas come with? I really like the way they look on the newer cars. Your car looks sick as is though.

BTW, just noticed you LP, badass! Does it just say LS1 or did you white out the rest in photoshop?

corner balancing is done. I thought the weight distribution would be a little bit better but i'm happy with the results:

2588 without driver.
weight distribution is: 54/46

I still have the side airbag, sound dampening, stock seats, heater and etc. Debating if i want to remove it to get down to the mid 2400lbs
