Default corvette filter/regulator

ok, i see that almost everybody doing a conversion swap is using this corvette filter/reg for their fuel system. where can i get one of these things? i went to my local advanced and the guys in there had no idea what i was talking about and Summitt or jegs didnt either. So I ended up spending like $250 on a aeromotive regulator and a summitt in line filter. but if i can get one of these corvette things, and they work just as good, i would rather get one of those and send the other stuff back.

Yep like he said Wix 33737. Napa sells it under fil-3737. Acdelco GF822. Just ask for a fuel filter for a 2003 corvette.

Hey 46Coupe, etc,

When I mounted those Russell fittings on my filter/reg, the inlet and return fittings slightly interefered with each other to the point where I feared the possibility of a leak. I very carefully spread the two tubes apart, and now the fittings just clear each other. Anyone have this same experience?

These filter are used on 99+ Corvettes.. should be able to pick one up at any parts store or have them order one.. Have them cross reference ACDelco GF822. and all of those other ones..

If not.. check some of the online stores, even ebay !.. Hmmm, been 5+ years on mine. I think its time to replace it... Got to thank this thread for reminding me LOL !

5/16" is return.
Russell PN 640863 is 5/16" to 6AN (for return)
Russell PN 640853 is 3/8" to 6AN (for inlet)
Russell PN 640940 is for 6AN outlet

Note that the first two are the BLACK fittings. PNs for anodized BLUE are 640860 and 640850.
