So between the 2 of these owners still no posts about any major complications or what modifications were needed to make it all work =)

If you could give some details about the swap that would be great. Details about the mounts you used being the most important.

Were you able to keep the factory crossmember or was it modified? How was exhaust manifold clearance, especially on the driver side?

nice conversion. Is that front end carbon fiber? MY buddy and i are planning a rb26dett with a rb25det tranny ina 96 240sx. I told him he could drop my old ls1 motor in it but he wanted to go more towards the skyline motor. Which is fine.... its gonna be quick either way!!!

have you heard of anyone putting a set of s15 silvia taillights on a 96 240sx?

You didn't mention the fact it was the later bodystyle car. That makes it even cooler. Good work.

SMcCarthy-both cars picturedare s14's.

I am very interested in the swap, as a matter of fact I thought I was original when I thought this up on my own a few months ago (I guess kind of since I want to use an s13).

So far between the both of you the only trouble mentioned was finding an oil pan that fit. But was anything done to the crossmember other than new mounts? Also, how did you set up the clutch? Did you just mount up the pedal and master/slave cylinders from an f-body?

teamspank-did you use a corvette LS1 and converte to a cable throttle body or did you simply put the corvette covers on an f-body LS1?

S14/S13= greek to me

I just figured he'd used the 89-94 body since they are more comminly available for dirt cheap. Like I say, the fact it's a 95-up makes it that much cooler.

5 inches!!! How much ground clearance does it have? That must hang pretty low.

I'm just glad to see someone else do this swap, hopefully this will become a common swap.
