OBDII Connector
I recently purchased an ls1 with the harness, ecm and probably the rest of the wiring from an 02 TA. My only problem is it didnt come with the obdII connector/port. I was wondering how they exaclty hooked up and if I had to get one for the TA, or if GM used the same connections on other models. Thanks.

They're all the same. If you go to your local junkyard and you should be able to find one. Someone posted a schematic in here somewhere. A search should be able to find it for you.

the ODB-II connector itself is a standard. all US cars (and therefore almost all cars world wide) have the same CONNECTOR.
the pins used is a standard, but we only use a couple of them, so you must have pins in the correct place.... so while any ODB-II GM car would work to steal the connector from, you cant take it from most other makes ( of course there are exceptions...)
here is the pinout for you:

what part are you confused about?
the plug itself goes under the dash, and is what a ODB-II scan tool, or a tuning cable plugs into, to "talk" to the PCM.
the pic i attached above shows the pinout, but the two grounds goto a chassis ground.
the +battery power, you will usually connect to PCMs constant power
the data wire goes to the datawire on your harness...
