Default Toyjet LS1 Porshe 911

I would like to thank everyone for complimenting me on the Toyjet. I worked very hard and long on this project and I appreciate your interest. The most common question asked is: Why doesn't go faster? Well here's why, I could not take advantage of the Cam,Headwork and Supercharger because of the stock axles. When I tried to surpass the 11.92 ET. I would break both axles in the burn out area. I now have axles capable of withstanding my car's full potiential.
I will post my time on the forum as soon as I get the car out of the paint shop and get it to the track.
Any predictions?

Thanks again

For those who have not seen the car reference:

I can't believe it fits, are the axles in a straight line or is the transaxle pushed forward?

The Axles are in their stock position. I made an adapter plate to adapt to the Chevy engine. The Chevy engine is about the same length as the stock Porsche engine.

Thanks for your interest.

Is the front to rear weight distribution the same as before? How does the car handle?

That's gotta be some kind of a record.......answering a question 2.5 years after it was asked!

Yes, the weight distrubution is the same because the engine is about 60 pounds lighter than the stock six cylinder engine. I added twenty two pounds back on the car with the rear radiator system.

The car handles like a dream...

Dang, he already beat me to it. I just got my hands on a 1977 Porsche 911S that's in really good shape but just needs a little body work and some new wiring and was planning to swap in an LS1 for the old motor in it, since I hadn't seen anyone else do it.
