Default 91 GMC LS1 Phantom Dually

Well, I just found LS1tech.com, but I am a couple weeks from being done with a 6-7month project of mating a 2000 LS1 to a TH700-R4 tranny using a torque converter from a 4L60E since I have found no converter meant for this application. I installed the TR 224/224 112 cam during a "cleaning" of the motor with 20k miles on it. Also, I put CC918s in, did some free intake mods, and am having the exhaust completely done with no cats, just (2) 40 series 3"in/out flowmasters. Hopefully I can push 400hp at the crank, 320hp at the wheels being somewhat conservative. Find some pics at http://rcst.com/Y2K/members/Joe/joe.htm if you want and let me know what you think!! Thanks!!

Just cleaned up one of your pics I copied, the color seems to be a deep red not the maroon I originally thought. Still, good looking color for doing monochrome scheme.

thanks, the color is a torch red, and the rear end is stock, i just put a Auburn locker/posi in it, racing u-joints, poly bushings and all. The drip shields and topper were put on by the previous owner, the drip shields will probably come off pretty soon, but I am partial to how they cover the mirrors.... so.... thanks alot for the input though!!

sweet looking truck.

Next time im in jax ill have to keep an eye out. RCST has some of the nicest trucks around. Some crazy examples of what you can do. A LS1 should make that truck really be unique.

Wild looking truck. Probably the best on your club site.(probably because I am partial to the '00 Silverado) I like the smooth one color look and your maroon color looks great. The drip sheilds and bed cover are over the top for me, but I guess you cruise with the windows open and need the cover for the monster sound system. I am surprised to see only 3.42 rear end, my LS1 is begging for 3.73 Anyway, well done!

I love the projectors, i'm about to put the Super White H3s in to replace the halogen bulbs that are currently in there. The one major difference that I noticed was that the light is focused into a very distinctive "oval" on the road and once you aim them properly it will illuminate the road much better than stock. I will probably go to an Escalade front end this winter, so if anyone wants to buy the projectors at that time, they'll be here.
