Geez after reading this thread through I have learned some humility. The creativity of some of these conversions is astounding. I have a 85 Porsche 944 that really could use some reliable power. Initially I was going to an LT1 but the reduced weight of the LS plus that it is an incredible engine makes it a great candidate for this fine little car.

I'm planning on doing the old S-10 conversion leaning towards an LS2 but might just do an LS6 instead. Right now I'm setting up the suspension and brakes. And then I'm gonna do the old M/C and I'm thinking an LS7, what the hell right? Gotta do the Blazer X first. I got the whole suspension on the way and the 18" Boyds then I'm gonna upgrade the rear (8.5" 10 bolt) and then do 13" ssbc fronts and leave the stock 12" discs in back.

Keep in mind, the stock booster probably wont clear the GEN3/4 motor. I am going Hydroboost on my truck with a similar conversion.......

It's my car, but I am certainly a very happy customer of Renegade Hybrids.

I am still learning so I'm not actually doing the build. A buddy of mine will be doing most of the work for me. This thing should be finished some time in the end of April or the beginning of May of this year (2005). It's gonna be sick. The only thing that's holding me up is the sale of my Eclipse. That's where my money is right now. If I could get it sold I could start with the major build.

1) 1990 Mazda Miata

2) 2002 LS1, Comp cam281/283 .571/.573 112, Mallet 5.3L Stage II heads, Manley 2.02/1.57, 918 springs, titanium retainers, B&B Route 66, M6 T56, Getrag 3.42, Kirban shifter, Alum flywheel, SLP oil pump, Rollmaster DR, 160 degree thermostat.

3) No pictures of the build but I have a little cardomain site. Not much on there right now. My MX-C5

Default Ebay Miata LS1

This was listed on Ebay last week and did not meet the reserve. Looks like it is a very nice conversion.

Default 1st Gen Blazer

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of putting C4 IFS & IRS under my Blazer. The suspensions and frame are setup on my jig and just need to be aligned. Plans call for a LS/X M6 combination along with a few body mods . Looking forward to
getting alot of info here ( and giving when I can ) . If anyone is doing or has done this conversion let me know ( I got ???? ) and some answers . Thanks

Ken
