Default Updated pics from BMW Z3 conversion project

I've posted this project on here several times before, but never included any pictures of the completed machine. The project began in November 2005 when I pulled the M44, then sat idle through the cold upstate NY winter. In late spring 2006 I got back into the project and by early fall of that same year we had her fired up and driving.

Spring 2007 brought a new suspension, dyno tune, and a desperately needed detailing session. Below are some recent pics, along with a link to a clip from the dyno tune in April (@ www.redline-motorsports.net)

VERY sweet car! That washer reservoir sure looks like the one from Snow Injection.

Nicely done.

Thanks guys. And the reservoir is actually an overflow tank for coolant and was a $7 part from NAPA.

I did have the vid camera set up while at the Glen a couple weeks ago but due to technical issues none of my sessions came out. So far I've only got this one vid on the dyno

I haven't weighed her yet. I'm guessing somewhere in the 2800-2900lb range.

Cool ride. The usual questions are, "What are you doing for exhaust?" and, "What wiring harness?"

Yow, Joe! More pics! VERY COOL Z3!!

Every time I see a Z3 I think: that would be a nice car if it had a real engine; I know one that fits real nice.... nothing like cubes and lots of power-enhancements available. The LS engines can't be beat.
