That is one crazy mod you did there! I just sign up just to give you thumbs up!
I have a question for you. Sorry if it already been answered... I don't feel like reading 40+ pages. I was only looking for pictures of your car and the progress of it.
How are you going to register and get insurance for the car? Do you do it under the Honda or Chevy? Since this is basically a combination of both.
Or is this car going to be just used as a show car and it won't be used on the street?

He would have to smog it under Honda Civic for his state. But since he has a vette motor in the car it will never pass smog legally since its going to polute more then a 4 cynlinder honda motor would. I would think its going to be a show car.

Civette...
Started reading this from the beginning..... and WOW. Its just amazing reading this whole thing, seeing the build from start to finish, and I must say, congrats on getting the near impossible done, and for driving that monster the way it was intended to be driven.
Could be interesting if you (for w/e reason), try to get someone else to change the oil in it.....
Again, cheers to a job well done.

As long as Jim doesn't tell him "it's a honda, just put 4qts in it and get the next car in."

That really didn't answer my question. Are you saying you do not have to do anything to the car in that county? You can drive the car without registration and insurance?

****. i would register it and insure it under the civic vin
I mean, lets just say a pesky po po is on your tail and your plates are registered under a 2000 corevette. Try and explain that to the cop when he pulls you over for suspicion of jacking someones license plates.
