Well you can just leave the knock sensors in there unhooked up or you can get a custom cover made like a member on here did for me.

Hi Guys
I've got a 5.3 from a 04 truck, and I'm going to put it in a 86 C-10. And I'm planning to run a carb on it. What would be the best choose for the intake? I've been looking at the performer, of the victor, but all I've seen has the performer comes with the Edelbrock controler, and all I'm reading says this is not the best one. I have the engine, and a Edelbrock 1411 carb. I plan the run the 400 trans, and do some pulling with it. Any ideal about the best ext. manafolds to use?

Dont get the Edelbrock controller, it cannot be tuned like the MSD. You can only use the timing pills.
If you are doing any pulling with it i would reccomend the performer intake, The victor jr will give you a dead spot until about 2500-3,000rpm.
