In regards to the carbon fiber, i've got a local friend who used to do it for a living until recently. We'll start with the hood, and the plan is for me to learn enough to do the rest on my own. It could turn out awesome, it could suck ass. Hopefully, it'll be the former.
For the hood I'd vote for the funny car snorkel style or maybe the 6" old school Cowl hood do you have any idea for the hood yet? Maybe the Cobra style nice and subtle.

sorry been away for a few days,floors/firewall all went straight out with 9" angle grinder.
mounted body to chassis/cage,then tinned it out from there.
quickest i ran it over the 1/4 was 10.00@139.99mph.and a absolute blast to drive.
cheers dave.
Progress has been slow unfortunately. My fabricator got burned on another project and had to hold off on mine for a bit to make more money for the shop. Such is life.
I just had the axles shortened though, and got the tires mounted.
I'm pulling the hood off this weekend and am going to work on making a mold for it.
Anybody have a starter and aluminum driveshaft they want to sell me cheap?
Being capable of driving it without killing myself is another issue...it's going to take a bit of getting used to...although i'll probably want more power in a few months :-)
