In no particular order, here are pics of the current progress. Exhaust is all done, pedals and master cylinders mounted, need to run fuel and brake lines and all that. Then time for metal work. Sorry about the bad pics, had to use my cell phone since my camera battery died
I commend you on the use of vise grips as a precise steering control! What is the crush resistance of a shop rag by the way? Your american bulldog looks just like my old guy. Passed away 2yrs ago at 8yrs old. Build looks kick ass! I have the 610 stripped to a rolling tub. Will start cutting this week end. g
Given that the thread count of the shop rags isn't very high, i'm going to guess that the crush resistance is relatively low. It does increase slightly when the rags are sandwiched around a finger.
I'm actually going to add 3 more vice grips, one every 90*. I'll make the u-turns a lot easier.
The bulldog (a johnson american) isn't mine, but i wish he was. We're looking for a female to breed with.
It is an english numberplate. Good eye! And you're right, it is not peruid correct. Neither is the "triumph" logo above it. Both of those will be changed soon.
Damn it's been a long time...i didnt realize how slow progress has been until looking at this thread.
Just some small updates. Floor and firewall are almost done. Then back to me to coat the chassis, spring/cam swap, exhaust coating, axle shortening, wiring, and fenders.
