I'm a DOHC guy, can get 96-98 cobra motors or mk8 motors cheap, and pistons and rods and to the sky with the power. I'm aware with the junkyard stuff you can go fast, but without spray or forced induction they aren't to fast. I got my 5.3 very cheap and I think the LSX motors are just stronger. I dont dislike 5.0s, just like LSXs better.

Love the car, super clean, will make a great ride when done. What brand of TT kit is that? You'll have to keep us updated how it all works. I've got a '93 Notchback i plan to stick either a 5.3 or 6.0 in it, and i had a dream last night about doing a twin turbo setup. lol.
I have the Maxium Motorsports K-member

I got some work done to the car today. I'm hoping to have the radiator in place next week so that I can get the car to Todd Moyer to do all the piping...

I'm waiting on the F-Body oil pan so that I can bolt the rack back up, when I get the car back from Todd I'm going to do all the fuel system and wiring. Once the car is running I'm going to pull the motor out and send the car to get the engine bay painted. While the car is getting paint I'm going to change the heads and cam.

Just tell them that it is already pretty, now you want it to be fast. So you had to put a GM motor in it.

That should be enough to really get the Ford and Mustang purists in a rage. lol

Maybe 8-10? I'm not concerned with racing it, I just wanted a good looking street car that has plenty of power to spank some Mustangs.

I know I'm going to catch some **** for cutting the strut tower but I would rather cut it than have to move the header tube.

It is a turbo kit I bought for my C-5 Vette. I decided to leave the corvette stock so I used it for this swap

I bought this kit for my C-5 but decided to use it for this build and leave the Corvette stock. I will have have someone fab the cold and hot side but that will be pretty easy.

its coming along, I just orders a bunch of stuff for it yesterday and today. If I get time this week, I'm hoping to get the fuel system ran, radiator mounted, all the accessories mounted, drive shaft cut and mount the exhaust.

Hopefully I can send it to get the piping done next week

Wont the hole you cut in the shock tower for the header, leave your front end weak as hell. You might want to add some other bracing.

its going to get fixed when I remove the motor to get it painted. I'm going to be some round tubing bent and cut it in half so that the curve matchs and looks good
