Default LS1 mini cooper finally an update! (pics)

Well, my wife and I found out that we will be having our first child, so I finally started hauling some *** on the mini. I know once she spits out the kid, the car will never get finished. Finally got all of the chassis fabrication done and painted the chassis. Engine going back in tomorrow, then body back on, and final assembly will begin.

When you get done with this car you need to line that thing up with the Civette (ls1 civic hatchback) :-)

That's ******* crazy man. I was reading an import magazine a few years back and a guy put a GSR engine in the mini. He already had a hard time stopping the car because of the small wheels which equals small brakes. I don't know what you have planned for stopping this little monster once she gets up to speeds. I'd love to know though. Great swap idea by the way I will be following this

Too bad you're so far away. We could start our own tube framed LSX powered british car club.

I had a hard time stopping the car before the big motor (had non-vented 6.5" rotors from an Opel GT), so I modded honda prelude discs up front to fit the Opel GT hubs and spindles that are on the car, with Wilwood 4 pistion dynalites, also did Wilwood 4 piston dynalites in the back.
