Default SLP Loudmouths on c6 YES/NO?

iv been on this site for a few years now, and finally sold my car. Well...i bought a c6 Vette and i LOVE it...only thing is...its stock and quiet. I knew a enough about my car to know what to buy and what sounds good and bla bla...but i find with this new car, im starting from scratch...again. i know very little about the corvette (compared to my WS6) so forgive me for asking any dumb questions.

anyhoo...to the topic.
i had SLP loudmouth exhaust on my WS6 sounded great. Very loud and i loved it....
am i going to get the same results from these?

http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/slplomoshre.html

The stock c6 is very quiet and i would like a more aggresive sound.
any thoughts? preferences? opinions on other exhaust?

i have heads, cam, LT's ORX and B&B's all i can say is LOUD. The average NFL football game registers a high dB of 115-118. My car registered a 126 at a local exhaust competition at a car show. It is LOUD. not too bad in the car but you better have your ears plugged when behind itlol They do sound great at idle and low RPM's, even up to about 3-4k after that it sounds like a demon or satan yelling when WOT. On a stock car it sounds good but you will want to invest in a Xpipe as well. They sound like a tractor at idle if you don't. The X-pipe it really smoothes out the sound. I really LOVE Borla Stingers on a stock car or even bolt on car. They sound great This is about how mine sounds behind the car but maybe slightly deeper though

LG long tubes, no cats, no resonators, and just the Borla steel tubing. That should do it!

I've got the Corsa Pace car exhaust hooked up to my LG longtube headers on my C5 and the sound is great. Nice and loud going thru the gears , but quiet on the highway with no drone.

Loudmouths are the loudest as they have no muffler at all. The Borla XR-1 system is right behind it as its resignator section is hardly a muffler at all. The B&B bullets are next.

My vote would go for the new Corsa Extremes and some nice ARH headers. The extremes have the no drone quality of Corsa but are crazy loud!

Another vote for b&b exhaust, I test drove a c6 and it sounded killer with stock headers.

GHL is the best.

Full '60's muscle car tone through the whole rpm range, no rasp, and same level of "loud" as the Borla Stingers.

Stingers sound more like a European car
GHL's sound like a 4th gen Trans Am with a GMMG

I'm really dissapointed with the way these LS engines sound, even with loud exhaust.

I heard a Ford Cobra kit car the other day with a 429 and side pipes, and it sounded oh-so-sweet!

I'm not a Ford fan but there is something about Ford V8s that hits the mark.

I agree. I just installed the corsa extreme and its awesome just cruising with no drone and then at WOT it makes ears ring.

I run Kooks 1 7/8" (no cats), 3" Kooks X-pipe and B&B 4" oval Bullets---almost NASCAR, needs a cam. I have not heard every combo listed, but would take something impressive to convince me that anything is superior to B&B Bullets in both growl and looks.
