Default Black Z06 Rims Vs. Polished Z06 Rims

Well I finally got around to putting on my black powdercoated Z06 rims with some new Nitto tires.
It was getting dark out when I started so the pics are not that good, I will get some better pictures in daylight when the car is clean as well
I know black is not for everyone, but I like to be different.
I posted a few with the polished Z16 wheels as well, enjoy.

It really comes down to your own personality traits. I myself am not a fan of bling or just drawing to much attention to myself, I love the black wheels and its the exact same thing i would have done in your position.

Should have went with black chrome, now that would look sick. Your car/wheels look amazing though.

I like the back. Maybe do a silver or white pinstripe on them....

I say polished for sure as well, then again I've never been a fan of an all-black wheel. Now a black wheel with a polished lip looks pretty good but that's not an option here. Also don't really like the black with blue scheme. Not doggin' your car at all here just giving an opinion. It's still the best color C5Z after EB of course!

Default Better Pictures

I was able to get some better pictures today.
I am very happy with how the rims look on the car. While it my not be everyones cup of tea, it is the look I was going for.
Now I just have to get all the lights tinted.

I like the black better, but I'd put a pinstripe around them if that were my car. I personally don't like the solid black look. I plan to put black on mine (black centers), but will get a red anodized lip to give them some contrast.

On the blue, I would say the polished look better, imo.

Looks good, I want to do the same thing with the chrome C5Zs on my car but I was under the impression that you couldn't powdercoat over chrome. Did you have the chrome stripped first or can you coat over it??

Also, do you feel comfortable saying how much you paid for the powdercoating? If not it's fine.

Looks great! Mixes the look of a car for the street with the look of a car for the track.
