It was freakin' hot in the shop. 108.4 degrees on the dyno. The car was just driven to go eat lunch and then slapped on the dyno, coolant temps were around 199. We logged the car to see how conservative the stock tune was, IATs were around 140 (almost like a blower car!), and the car pulled 8deg of timing @ 5800RPM, right it's supposed to make peak power. We didn't have a dyno fan so we just used a tiny little thing. I was expecting 350-360 considering the heat but this surprised me.
Our torque box is broken from the heat, so all I got was a horsepower reading and it was:
380hp. LOL.
I wish I had a graph to show, power was climbing REAL hard then BANG it pulled all that timing and toggled between 360-365hp. If I would have gotten a clean pull I think that thing would have made 390, close to 400whp on a nice 55-60 deg day.
I'm gonna hit the track, then it's time for mods
