Probably the biggest thing will be having a window switch so you don't have the nitrous spray into the rev limiter and a tune would be really nice as well, it would help the shifting with the added power!

A window and WOT( wide open throttle ) switches are defiantely a must on an A4. Also have the A/F ratio checked after the kit is installed. Even with the correct sized fuel and N2O jets installed, the A/F ratio can be a liitle off. I would also get a Timing Tuner module. That way you can pull a couple degrees of timing out when you run the nitrous and add the timing back when you are not.

Anything more than stock HP applied to the 4L60E is going to cause stress and damage to it. The stock 4L60E is really a POS IMO. If he has stock gears( 2.73s or 3.15s ) with a stock stall, he should be fine running a 100hp every now and then. If he does have aftermarket gears and/or stall, a tranny cooler is a must! Some people will suggest a tranny brace, but it is a bit overkill for a 100hp wet shot.

I can tell u ,that from myself spraying a 100 shot on an a4 ,i went thru 2 trannys ,the 3rd one is an Flt tranny & It has been bullet proofed ,i would have a window switch & The appropriate pills on the switch ,so u can control when it comes on ^& when it shuts off ,i just sold a msd switch that was allready modified to run with the Ls1 or U have to send it to Msd & They have to modify it ,or u buy one from tbyrne ,like i did thats allready been modded ,there a 100.00 & they may save your motor ,well worth it imo ,o ya another thing ,try not to Wheel hop or u will be putting in an hardend outputshaft, most of the time they break on the drivers side ,there the weaklink in the c5 rearends

start saving for a transmission.

stock stall, stock 2.73 gears, stock shift rpm, stock cam, run flat tires, blower on low boost toasted my tranny after 2 months. some get lucky, don't assume you will be, start saving pennies now.
