Hell, that Jeep will really be impressive up there. It probably runs 7s in the 1/8, huh?
Jeep runs in the high 7's (7.9s) in the 1/8th according to timeslips from the rock. Vette runs 7.4's at about 100mph (98-99+)in the 1/8th, so I'll let you know after the converter install..

Ofcourse. I meant before the converter. Mine went 7.40 @ 90 on Saturday, that would be a close race.

Evilways' car with a stall and a 200 shot would clean up on a 275 DR.

He might not clean up, but he would outrun you.

What ever. Really though that thing would probably run some 5.90's in the 1/8 on a 200shot with the stall and a cam speced for the gas.

But with a 6.0 , l92 heads and a nitrous cam yours would too.

Well my stall is a little much for that. Sell Evilways that fogger and we'll see what it'll do.

Okay this is getting off topic. Keep it on the jeep guys or it's locked.

BTW, the Jeep is a good sleeper to clean house with.

Thanks, Villian.I've always wanted a "sleeper" of sorts, and the Jeep qualifies for that, as not alot of people even know they make them in SRT8 form. It's hard for a cammed Vette or 4TH Gen to be a sleeper. I don't want you guys to think I'm not a GM fan,though..I've owned 3 2nd Gen TAs, 2 3rd Gen Formulas, and a 4th Gen TA, and several GM d.d.s . If they still made 'birds, I'd have one of those too. If I do any sort of FI or N20(unlikey on the nitrous option), I'd say it'd go on the Jeep, rather than the vette. A close to 10 second streetable car is plenty for me.

My Jeep SRT8 just ran 12.12 at 112.70mph. 1.69 60' time. Cam-only with bolt-ons. NA. Stock tires and stock torque converter too. These are fantastic sleepers.

Even people who know about cars are blown away how a 5000 lb SUV with stock tires and suspension can rocket to a 1.6x 60' time on the street. Really plants you in your seat. The SRT8 Jeeps are sweet 0-60 machines.

Ha! My Wife has a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with long tubes AFE intake system and a flowmaster true duals. She called me and complaining that a Jeep had just kicked her ass at a light. She didn't know it was an SRT8. She said " I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A JEEP". It was funny.

Just because it is impressive doesn't mean its a sleeper.
