Yesterday was a good day for sure. I built my sister a footbrake car to race. Its your typical stock internal/bolt on type car. It started out as a bone stock 00' ss. By the end of the day I ended up getting a 11.039@120.00 out of it.

Like I said this car started out bone stock when the build started. The first pass off the trailer yesterday it went 11.101 @ 119. Made some front and rear suspension changes and a slight shock change all the way around and at the end of the day we ran 2 11.039's in a row!
car weighs 3085 and those times are through a full x pipe exhaust I built. Had 3 1.45 60ft's in a row at the end. the best part is we learned a few things about the car and theres some more left in it! Im shooting to get it in the 80's, then do a nice heads and cam deal for it.

What RPM did you trap? I think it was at the top of 3rd @ 120 and 6000. I could probably lock the converter in third and get you some more MPH.
Ed that was right at what it was. According to the factory tach it was like 6100 ish. Im always down for some more MPH!

theres a ton of things I've done to it, but thats a basic break down of it.
Things I may change is go to an ATI balancer. Might also change the burkhart k-member/ control arms and go to a design I've got in my head but don't have the time right now to do as im already super busy with work right now. Its a more cost effective version of what I'm doing on my outlaw 10.5 car.
The biggest thing is not what parts you use, but how its setup and works together.
