Well my car will go 10s... when I buy it and do bolt ons, cam, nitrous.
yours too? now i don't feel so bad...but i hope i don't need nitrous, that would be embarrassing.
so this heads, cam, intake car on a supposed jank tune is going 7.2 @ 94 in the 1/8? that doesn't sound too awfully impressive, but not horrible either. it would definately ruin that 7.50 car hahaha.
Man do Ya'll know each other? Or just on this site? Either way nice times on both cars. I would be happy with either times because I got a turd compared to ya'll car.
nope, hes just some tard that posts up ignorant shit..
youll get there man! just keep modding and working for it!

I just went to the local 1/8 mile track last Thursday.
I ran:
7.441 @ 91.01, 1.538 - 60'
7.444 @ 90.84, 1.540 - 60'
7.453 @ 91.09, 1.557 - 60'
7.520 @ 90.88, 1.590 - 60' <-- (spun)
You can also click my sig pic for my video (with full break down of times) of my car back in January. Also watch closely as it pulls the wheel a little like the pitiful bolt on car that it is.
Do something impressive and I'll give you the respect you deserve.
Want to show me the real potential? Then go to a 1/4 mile track and just barely fall short of the 10 second run that you promised me back in January, from your 420rwhp >3200lbs car.
the car has done what i expected it to.. and will continue..
so your outstanding 90.8-90.01 trap speeds and you think you will hang on the top end?
i could care less what your running.. you no threat to me..
im not going to go to a 1/4 mile... i wouldnt be surprised if i EVER run at a 1/8.. i have absolutely nothing to prove to anone about my car.. i know what it runs and what it will run... (not capable of, but what it will do)

Until it gets updated again, I'm currently 47th. Which I would say is a good place to be since I don't even have headers, but that means that there are a whole slew of bolt on cars that are running roughly the same or better 1/8 that you. Maybe you should find one of those fast tracks that us SI guys use, instead of the one you go to.
yes i did... wtf does it matter that bolt on cars are running faster than me? there are 346s in the 9s.. does that mean that 408 strokers in the 9s-10s are junk?
maybe i should keep going to huntsville..

the tune isnt complete junk.. it has a pretty good tune on it.. just not tuned for the heads.. i have about 15rwhp still on the table from a tune as i sit..
like i have pointed out... look at the whole slip and you will see that it has much more that 7.2s... both those runs i fishtailed and one run i hit rev limiter bad on 2-3 shift..
and yes.. i would drag jons ass up and down the track anytime he wants..
you, along with anyone else that doesnt say thats impressive, A. has never been to huntsville dragstrip.. B. isnt looking at the entire slip and just looking at the 7.2..
the car has a LOT more left in it... im shooting for 6.8s... and its got every bit of that in it.. i would be very satisfied with 6.9s though..
again, thanks for all the compliments guys!
jon... i still think your a tard bucket along with many others... and yes i will drag you anytime you think you need to prove yourself and come on down to Chatt. or huntsville with your astonishing 7.4@90.....

theres no way his ass is going to show.. he talks all this shit.. and if i was so sure that i would destroy a 10 second car with my 11 second car.. you better believe id be there....
but then again.. i understand that sentence doesnt make a whole lotta sense..

Dude, first off you don't have a 10 second car as it is. Even at 6.9s you're gonna need more MPH to pull of a 10 second 1/4, but no where did I say that I was going to run you in the 1/4. Don't let the 12 second club guys swell your head up too much.
And about your tune, you probably look to gain next to nothing from tuning for heads alone. Maybe if you have a SD tune then I might see a few horsepower. Believe that I log every pass I make down the track and on average I range from 12.6-13.3 AFR and you can see what kind of difference that variation makes. I mean from best to worst on my last outing wasn't even a tenth and I spun on the worst pass. I've also played with timing quite a bit as well I can move around 5-6 degrees and it has little to no effect within a certain range.
That's not to say that maybe you're last tune was on the shitty side and you're next will be perfect. I guess we will see.
And please give the details about Huntsville. I mean certainly you keep up with weather changes whenever you go to the track, right? You post in a lot of threads saying that most of peoples gains come from DA. Then you try to discredit their runs because they don't have enough info about their track day conditions. Surely you wouldn't post stuff like that without doing it yourself. How hypocritical would that be?

your right... i have an 11.1 car fish tailing, hitting the rev limiter, without a tune for my heads, and more weight than i will have next time i go... damn man, you caught me...
my tuner along with my tune is very good.. i went from stock 1998 heads to PRCLS6 heads.. you have stock heads along with cam and a lot of things... what your car does means absolutely nothing to me..
i dont keep up with that stuff, nor do i criticize people when they dont know.. do i know the temp? absolutely.. i have seen cars pick up .3 and 2-3mph after the sun goes down..
when have i discredited anyones runs because they dont know the elevation of their track? do tell...
your going to keep being a bitch... your not going to ever come race me... your not, and probably wont be running as fast/faster than me... and if you do, i would like for you to be beside me.. i wont give credit to most cars on the "fastest list" unless they come to the same track i run at at the same day and i see what they run... most of the time its going to be disappointingly different..
(have you noticed that your the only one in this thread (and probably on tech) that thinks you stand a half ass chance?)
AGAIN! until you have something worth running your about, or your ready to get embarrassed...

So what was the DA for your runs? I mean you're not posting to brag (as you claim) and you didn't give all the details, so you must not be posting to be informative either. Are you just running up your post count?
We'll see about the tune. I'm looking forward to your new results after Friday.
Here is a post you made recently: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/11453319-post9.html. I see these from you from time to time and I totally agree with you. So since you obviously know that gains and losses come from more than just adding new parts and getting tunes, then I would expect you to keep up with it yourself. Especially since you don't seem to frequent the track in your car, it wouldn't be that much work.
For instance, when you get your shit straightened out and it's all of a sudden 20 degrees hotter and humid as fuck and you don't run any faster, at least you'll have another excuse.

your right.. im running my post count up..
i probably will lose hp and tq on the tune.. hell probably will blow it up..
i changed my mind about that post..... i think he picked up .4 totally out of the tune, and it was probably 50 degrees hotter outside, no doubt..
actually... instead of thinking that i will be running 7.2-7.3s in the heat... maybe even some 7.4s... i think i will be running some mid 6s at 85mph...
your right.. i have all these excuses.. i certainly wasnt stating what happened on the passes..
damn you got me again.. im such a fuck tard...
side note----- let me know when you wanna get drug...

"I hooked and spun and hooked and then I hit the limiter." I know that's what happened but that really doesn't tell much. Some people over exaggerate stuff and stuff are modest.
When I made that video in January the track prep was kinda shitty (the reason for the extra long burnouts), but 2 passes I dead hooked and ran 11.73s, the I barely turned the tires over on the 11.77 passes (you can hear it in the video), then I would spin most of first gear, even get a little sideways and run 11.9s. And finally I had some passes that spun but didn't seem that bad that ended up being 12.0-12.1 passes.
Its hard to go off of someone's opinion of how bad they were spinning. Or how long they stayed in the limiter. Giving the DA would have been way more informative that had you written a book describing every single detail of the run. That's all I'm saying.
Come on out here and run me. You would probably run mid 6s the way you are on the tracks that I go to. I mean, you should run that with all the mods that you have. Why not be at your full potential, bring your car here and let it shine.
screw the car i wanna see the times for the bike i wanna see if you can ride...
haha... im getting times for it within the month.. im going to try to see what i can get out of it... and then im going to let a friend ride, he will get a much better time than me..
i know for a fact i wont get that bitch to stay down.. its got full exhaust, sprocket change, and a filter... stock height.. im gonna try to lower it before i go... but i still think its going to do a wheelie the entire track.. that or ill have to short shift it at like 9k..

I'd love for you to post some 1/8 miles times of you on your stock length Honda.
Not really sure what all is going on here. For what it is worth let me sure share something with you all. When I had my stock 92K mile engine in the car with a weight of 3,665 lbs. It only had long tube headers and 3.70 gears with ET Streets it ran 1.54 60 foot 7.533 at 89.14 1/8 mile and 11.94 at 111.17 1/4 mile. The valve covers had never been taken off the engine and it even had an LS1 intake on it. You can see you ran faster then me at that time your car is making some power.
That same engine with the stock auto, converter and stock 10 bolt with 323 gears put down 329 HP and 350 TQ before I installed the TH400, stall converter and 9 inch rear which we all know only takes away HP and TQ so if my car can run a 7.53 1/8 ET and a 11.94 1/4 ET with lower HP and TQ numbers then I stated above yours will run better once you get traction.
Now change the torque arm and add the drag sway bar and put some ET Drags on the car and get the ET downs. I was running the above times with all stock parts on the front of the car minus the sway bar and stock sway bar on the back with air bag in right rear.
Good luck! You actually only need the right air bag!
