Default Header only T/A traps 114.54mph

Took my boys(MiguelLS1) 02 WS6 to the track today. It was 90 degrees with 53% humidity, so I didn''''t think I was going to get a new best. But the first pass there I got a new best. 12.71@112mph. I was happy but I knew it would go faster. Then I went a 12.65@114.64mph. I made a few other pass but they were slower. Next pass I went a 12.55@114.54mph. 114mph with a total of $800 spent. $500 for the Pacesetter headers with ypipe and $300 for Mickey Thompson drag radials. No tune, no air lid. We removed the front sway bar, and the back seats. The car still was a pig @3560lbs. The best before was a 12.79@109 on dr''''s and 12.84@109 street tires. I also met a few forum members I can''''t remember their names. One had a 5.4 3valve with a turbo. I think he had a few problems with the car but it looked like it will roll when he gets the bugs worked out. My friend also had a new best in his 04 cobra with a ported eaton and bolt on''''s 11.39@123mph on nitto dr''''s. What do you guys think about the mph? And that's with a weak 1.79
60', for what ever reason I can't get his car to 60' better than that.
Here is a break down on the best ticket.

1.796 60''''
5.271 330
8.109 1/8
87.37 mph
10.532 1000
12.557 1/4
114.54 mph

Nice meeting you guys today. I was the tall guy in the CETA that your Cobra buddy smoked once! The white WS6 definately runs well, but did have an SLP lid on it BTW my CETA with full leather interior, jack and spare tire was 3465 without me! I thought it would be well over 3500.

Your car didnt come with an SLP lid stock nor did any other WS6 for those years. Stock from SLP was the same ole crappy GM baffled constricting crap. I saw pics taken from the track yesterday and clearly in the photo your car has an SLP lid.....not the stock GM.

This is what came stock

Ha....This one's a little tough to take. Just because your car was built on a Wednesday, it is 10mph faster than similar cars in the heat?

not saying your a liar but the slip doesnt make sense. gaining 27 mph on from 1/8 to 1/4 is not regular. Usually in the 23-24 mph range from what I seen. It seems to sixty foot hard and the fall on its face until 1/8 mile marker.

I go 2.0 sixty foot and run the exact same times at 113 in a m6, so kind of wierd

You have been 113 and you can't believe that I went 114. Come on, some of you just call bs on everything. DKITCHEN was there and saw the pass. The air lid part, when he bought the car the guy told him that the lid was stock. He said it was part of the WS6 package. But if you say it's not then cool, it went 114 with a lid, headers and ypipe. You guys are right it does pull hard after the 1/8 my vette only picks up 24mph. But if any of you wants to see it come to MIR.

Blue Bird has a signifigant amount of bolt-ons compared tou your longtubes and lid. That is why it is hard to believe that you trap faster than he does. You must be one helluva driver.

Come on guys I know it's hard to believe but I never post on here so there's no reason for me to try to impress any of you. The only reason he posted anything is to see what you guy's thought and all you guy's do is call BS but thats cool it's my car and I'm happy with it. I use to be a Import Guy, boy was I wrong!
