street driving IMPROVED with this trz bar as the front no longer dips over on curves from not having a front sway.

Thas fuckin cool, I think I may have found a new bar, thanks for the R&D again!

thanks mike, yes. clear gains were made with this vs. stock rear sway or w/ air bags

best short time ever was 1.38 previous, 3rd pass on this set up (first hard launch at all) was 1.35

eric i appreciate your time as well having one on deck for me.

normal turning is unaffected far as i can tell. my spool is more noticable on slow turns, but i think slow turns if anything are also better (with spool and no front sway)

yes not taking this set up off during street driving. it is better with it on.

hey mike you seen the video.. where do you think i need to go with adjustment from here? remember its hooked to the bottom of the rear.. i think that reverses your original suggestion no?

in the vid it sill brings up the drivers front more, not that i'm complaining!

quite sure thats the best 60' on that tire EVER, should ask M/T

You should probably tighten the passenger side rear 1/2 turn (or lengthen the driver side rear 1/2 turn, either one) if its still pulling the front driver side slightly more than the pass side front.

If you find out on the 60' let us know!!! Im sure it has more in it too

Let us know if you need anything else, thanks!

are you sure the passenger one gets shorter? it would be doing the opposite considering where mine is mounted yes no?

I have had the TRZ ARB on my street car all year ,I really like the way the car drives on the street now. Best 60 ft this season 1.363. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Thanks TRZ.

show me this cobra, im real interested in other fast cars on these tires.

i havent heard of quicker than 1.35. ive looked hard.

1.38 you run has got to be the best too, cant be too many running that tire that hard.

cobra is local its irs car too...it was a lucky launch...cars all over the place without a 2 step and with a stick..that was on 315/35/17 hoosiers...not m/t(which the mt should be better)
ive been 1.38 also on 255/50/16 stock wheels...that was cake...i could prolly go faster if i tried to stick them back on...that was a cam only motor with a 125 shot
i know a local guy that was on pinks(blue iroc) that car is about 3650 little heavier and hes been i think a 1.36 on the 255/50/16's

either way your cars running well...the long gears is helping those tires hook a bunch...

i relaly wanna do a very similar car to yours that weighs about 3200...

Normally on ARB's above the rearend of ours, lengthening the passenger rear link is whats needed to preload it correctly. Since these are under the rear w/ the links going up, tightening the passenger rear will preload it correctly. It's opposite what we're used to doing. I know this cuz when it was put on Will Stevenson's car, they adjusted it the traditional way which made it worse, and makes sense, cuz they preloaded it the wrong way.

You might want to scale the car;

car race ready with you in it with your gear on.
Put two scales under the rear tires
Disconnect the drag bar
adjust the front driver spring, to put 15 lbs. more on the passenger rear then driver rear.
Square up the rear so it sits level to the ground, may have to adjust the front also
Then reconnect the drag bar while you are still sitting in the car with no preload.

This will make it hook better, come up squarely and go straight.

Man that is killer David!! I guess that more than proves that the TRZ piece works on cars quicker than 11 and 12 seconds (somebody claimed that when I first made a post about it = LOL ).

Have you ever put some slicks on the car? I understand the challenge of running it on the street tires, but the thought of launching it harder on slicks would be an interesting test too

Congrats again!!
