Default need help with susp. setup

I have a o1 ws6 that I can not get out of the 13's on 295/35/18. The car pulls 2.0-2.3 60's with 114-115 mph n/a. The car has gone 11.7 @ 118 on old engine with 26x11.5x16 m/t with 1.7x 60's before. It has lca, phb, 9" with 3.89 gears rest of the stuff is stock. That was at 6500 clutch dumps. The new motor is a iron 6.0 with g5x3 cam, 243 heads that flow 310 @ 600, ls6 intake, bolt ons. The rear end is the same with bm t/a, Suspension Techniques sway bars, lca brackets and bilisteins in the rear

This is a REAL DAILY DRIVER. It sees about 500 miles a week. I would put slicks/dr's back on it but I have broken 2 alum. drivelines, all were on my street tires on the street. Any ideas let me know this is about to make me mine tube to fit 345/30/19 on the back.

I have drove my friends c6 z06 that makes 540-550 rwhp on stock tires to a 10.9@131 on 1.7 60's so I know I can drive a little.

What do you have for a torque arm? And are the LCA's in their lowest setting?

Getting a 6 speed off the line takes a little driving. It's not something you can just dump the clutch and go. Sidestepping wont work with those tires for sure. Breaking driveshafts could be a pinion angle issue as well.

18' tires are not for drag racing. You can't hook up on 18's so you wanna run 19's?

Like I said I the first post I know I could 1.8x's 60's on the 325/30/19. I might try the m/t 305/35/18 dr's and see if can pull some 1.6x's

As for the torque arm it's a spohn body mount and the pinion angle is at -4. Right now I leave the line off idle and roll into the pedal. the big problem is getting 2nd to hook once they are spinning. If I short shift to 2nd it boggs and kills the et's.

Ya but a ZO6 is 500lbs lighter or so and alot more power. Puttin 19s on cause you can't hook on your 18s is backwards.

I know the weights has a something to do with it. The z06 has 50hp more so should it be harder to get it to hook? Plus my car is 3500 lbs with me in it, vette is 3350.

Yes it would, and I will put them on eventually, but for a person that wanted to rock the big wheels, it can be done.
