What type of welding machines were used in this setup? I could only imagine a tig with those nice looking welds on the cage. Did you mig the body stuff? Awesome build btw!
My wife has a 1962 model Miller TIG and I have a Lincoln 225 TIG. We TIG everything. The MIG is covered in dust in the corner.

You are one of the few other people I know that use a Lincoln tig. I have about an 1980 model Lincoln Idealarc Tig 300. I really only use it for heavy aluminum anymore. Its hard to beat the inverter arc on the Dynasty 200 for light non AC work.

I'm still learing to weld. I bought a Lincoln 135amp mig and have a 75/25 cylinder and I have a blast every time I fire it up. I'll master that skill, then get a tig so I can begin making awesome looking stuff like you've got there. I guess craigslist is about the best place to get one of these machines, since I'm in no way using it for a living and evidently even machines from the '60s still work like a charm! I've got a lot of practicing to do before I can do stuff like you've got there
