Very nice. Is that metal plate an access cover for changing stock style fuel pumps?

Yea, its has an inline pump and aftermarket tank in it now though. It had the hole when I got the car, I just covered it up a little better then it was.

The part I like the best is that they've had the car for 1 WEEK TO DO THE WHOLE JOB. The clown I used to convert my 6 pt to a 10 pt, and basicially install a moroso box in the trunk, along with the shutoff and 1 cable up to the front took 5 WEEKS, because he gets work in and it sits around for 4 and a half weeks and he doesn't do shit until the guy's screaming they want their car back.... but he has NO problems taking deposits on work, any work, small or large and it's a "couple days" to get it done.

This, is where NRC shines. They get the work DONE when they say it will be, and the quality on top of it, is 110%

The work my old guy did... not only was the easy way taken at every turn, it's also somewhat sloppy and if anything is left for him to do without explicit instructions, and I mean even standing there while he is doing it may not even be enough..... will be done in some screwball way that you've never seen before. Not because it's a good idea, it's because that's the easiest and fastest way, and he used what he had laying around rather then doing it the right way and spending 5 cents more on material. I've actually seen him use pieces of old cages he cut out to make other stuff... I didn't think anything of it at the time, but now knowing ALOT better... I'd have said something when I saw it (this wasn't done on my car, but I know it was on one car that he did) Honestly, my car passed cert... but I don't know if I should trust it. Plus the way he did the top, with the padding on the upper halo my helmet sits right on it when I'm in the car, if I ever had a rollover I'd be dead, or end up with a broken neck most likly. Which is one reason I'm not racing the car again until the cage is redone.

Kudo's to Bob and Jay again... can't say enough good about them, and I can't wait to get the $ together to get my sled down there to them. 14+ hours away or not!

Dont forget you need an appointment too, lot of guys take a car in just to 'get it in the door' and it sits while they are doing other projects. I'd rather wait until a certain date to bring it in and let the car sit in my garage until they can devote the time to do the job.

But yea, one week and its done is pretty amazing to me, have to wait for the windshield and NHRA now guy so I'll go get it next week.

normally we would have scheduled the NHRA guy for the same time car,s are here, but he had to go to ga this weekend so he,ll come next sat to cert car ,
so we are getting a vette this week so hopefully he,ll be able to do both,[vette,s a bit harder] i schedule this "little stuff" while we do bigger jobs [got to keep Jay moving.LOL]as there is always down time on full 25-5,s or 25-2,s.depending on type of car we keep it 5-10 days on cages, 3/4 weeks on spec cars ,depending on customer changes/ad ons thanks again guy,s bob

I took my car over to NRC for a 8.50 cert and mini tub about 2 years ago, drove all the way from south florida to have them do the work. It was well worth the trip. I just wished i lived closer.
