With my six speed car I did fine rolling out before going all out, but the first time I tried to launch it I broke an axel. Bought moser axels went back tried it again and exploded the carrier. That was on 17" mt's with 550 rwhp.

FWIW: I broke mine on the dyno trying to tune it at that power level. LOL
Start saving for a 12-bolt, 9" or S60 now.

I have beat the hell out of mine for the past 2 years every weekend at the track and just pulled it out in perfect working order to make room for a new 9"...

1.47 60's all day and night here.

^^^

What he said. Having the wheels hop is a 10 bolts worst nightmare . Run the shit out of it anyway.

Mine has been good for 10.08 @ 134 with a 1.47 60'.... Putting on a BMR Torque arm and Drag bar today and will be going for 9's next weekend. As long as there is no wheel hop and you haven't already done something dumb to hurt it the 10 bolt will live.

Screw the 9"!!! lol Get the tune dialed in, get some drag shocks, and you'll have a solid 10sec car.

Hell ive ran my freak stock rear end for 9 years now and still good as new. I run mine on the street more than the track but its dead hooked on slicks and drag radials with no whining from it.

all you guys beating the hell out of it must have autos cause my 6 speed with just a catback, lid, dr's destroyed mine. launching at 5k dead hook in a 6spd = broke axle inside the posi unit . at least my 9" hasnt even flinched at that kind of abuse
