^ Agreed, 10 pounds or so. I did not touch the fire wall stuff but I took the same stuff from the T-Top trunk area.

i'd say close to 15 if you rip the stuff on top of the hatch off too. between 10-15 though for sure.

not as much I people said. I weighted my stock carpet, then no sound pads, and it was only like half the weight I saw everyone talking about (same said the removed like 10-15#s?????
The stock carpet was really heavy. But I only removed like 8# pulling all the matting, the under the trans heat stuff, and tar paper off the top of the hatch. It was still 33 #s or something, after I filled a garbage bag, but it was all strings, and foam. lol I remembered guys saying theirs was alot lighter doing the same work I did.
Theres a good thread. With before and after a guy had some good detailed info, there he took a belt sander, ( not joking) hahaha and took a lot more, but he said it took 20hrs sanding the back side. wtf Some guys got crazy cutting a sqare out under the seats, the full carpet under the concal, and the flaps over the rear wheel weels. But thouse do stop alot of road noise, If you go that far. I bought the speed inc one after. It is a real 12#s before you cut anything off to fit it. You can cut that one down and it would be alot nicer.

The firewall pad it 10-11#s I still have a little around some wiring's I didn't get off.

All that shit was removed and only 4.5 lbs lighter its a waste of time....dont do it or just remove the whole thing...get some lightweight speed inc carpet or none at all.
