Charles, I got the pipe, silicone elbows and flanges from Pep Boys beleive it or not. I think they are made by Spectre.
The black couplers up front are ABS plumbing stock from Lowe's.

I'm sure it will help. People really don't know how much a ram air set-up is worth. As long as you can get a + pressure in the air box it will pick up. On a Pro Stock Motorcycle it is worth at minimum a .10 and that is huge.

Very nice, best setup Ive seen for a pontiac. Like the SUX2BU for samaros, I made one back in the day to. 12.90@110 to 12.62 @112.5 I think it was with the powerpond too.
Like ed said, try it sealed up on the front of the lower airbox. I sealed mine up and if the foam came out beofre I glued it in the car would lose 1.5 MPH. I'd pop the hood but the foam back in. And the MPH came back.
Try it sealed, and open like that and see.

I put some black screen behind the bumper holes, bewteen the tubes. Cauches all the bees, grasshoper, and grass blades in the fall time. So just the filter get the little bugs and flying seeds.

The dual air path, will probally dyno more. I know my car dynos a lower number only getting air thu the up SUX2BU 4inch ducts. With the lower airbox sealed up, but I leave it in anyway. But at the track when that front foam would blow out (yes forward) of one end of the airbox opening, the 1/8 numbers were about the same. but the big end was down 1.5-2mph. So over 80-90mph it was better to have it sealed for track performace.
Also I remeber reading LS1joe posted when then got rid of the "big gulp" they ran. (the whole front on the cat fish mouth was a duct madman built) Went they started going over 150, it was costing more in areo. And they sealed the front up and went to somthing diffrent. Just some food for thought, on this. But see what your car likes.

Yes Brandon it's dual because it draws from the bottom as well as the top.
Studderin has a point though about sealing it up and it's definately worth a try. I thought because the front is so wide open taking in air that the airbox would be pressurized but he's right I should try it and see.
John, I removed all that stuff yes, it's worth it to me because of the weight savings.
I do have a bumper support in there that I made of round bar and flat steel. It's weighs a little bit but keeps the nose sturdy, you can sit on the front bumper beleive it or not the way I have it set up and the front frame rails are intact so God forbid in a crash they'll work as designed.
Thanks Eddie, yeah I've always been a fan of the ram air set ups and I love some of the one's I've seen on this site that people come up with, like Studderin and there have been plenty more over the years.

Have you ever made a back to back run with the tubes open vs blocked off?

I've seen several people report gains, others that didn't seem to see the gain.. I know you generally keep good track of stuff like this, I'm sure people would be interested in the results.

Looks great, but I agree with sealing up the front of the airbox. Any added pressure from the two bumper scopes will just blow out the front opening.
Have you ever tried WS-6 Ramair mod that sealed the hood opening to the airbox?
I would try back to back track run with open the sealed will tell the real gains.

So you really think that even though I have the air coming into the tubes, ram air nostrils and the opening under the nostrils that the airbox still wouldn't be pressurized? Even at the higher speeds?
You guys have definatley got me thinking.
My goal is to max out this combo N/A before I spray it so I am definately going to try blocking off the airbox and/or like suggested-seal the incoming air from the rest of the engine bay-I could make something up for sure. Thanks!

I believe that the air pressure at the bumper fog lights is higher then the pressure at the Ram Air opening. If you try to use both, the pressure will equalize to the lower pressure of the two and lose the benefit of using the fog lights opening. If not sealed, you will only see the pressure of the lowest area/leak.

I believe to see a real gain you would want to use both Fog Light opening and run it to a sealed box(not foam but a true seal).
I remember years back that Patrick G. did a test and found that the WS6 sealed BG Ramiar mod actually made a pressure gain to the intake track, and also found that the pressure coming in at the Fog Light opening was close to double that of a sealed WS6 hood.
