How do you have your ram air system set up on your drag car?

Here's my sety up. Its a plate that i made at work that replaces the FTRA. it has two 4" holes in it that i ran dryer hose (yes as in clothes dryer) to two 4" to 6" funnels that i screwed into the front facia.
Don't have any dyno results but with the FTRA i ran 11.8 @ 117
I swapped the FTRA for my set up, ADDED 125 lbs in weight (added a bolt in 6 point cage and reinstalled my A/C) and left the A/C belt onn (forgot to take it off). Went back to the track and ran 11.7 @ 118 in a little bit WORSE weather. So i gained 1 mph and 1 tenth OVER the FTRA while adding the drag of the A/c compresser belt and adding 125 lbs in wrose weather. I'de say it works.

So you did away with the complete FTRA setup? I currently have the FTRA and was thinking about extending it or routing some of the same piping to it from the front holes in the front fascia.
Does anyone else have a similar setup with back to back dyno numbers or track results?

Dyno numbers aren't gonna happen chief, unless you can get a HUGE fan to blow 100 mph wind at your car while your on the dyno.
I'm tellin you i had a HUGE improvement over the FTRA.

that support doesn't really support much and i've cut alot of it away just for weight savings.

really? then what helds the car together on the front if we removed the front bumper support too?
i would do the same as you, but i would weld the plate on the sides to the frame to keep it like a replacement of what has been cut... unless you did that too...
too bad i have not learned to weld yet.. i'm doing it with fiber...
