With the position of the driver seat, mount and latch its legal. The tech that looked at it said it was fine, the latch basically pulls it so its on the middle of the pipe.

Picked the motor up today and got it ready to be assembled. Didn't get much time to work but got a couple of small things tightened up.

ETP LS7 - Machined for 1/2" and 3/8" head studs

LS7 top shot

LSx block with 1/2" && 3/8" head studs - still need to install 18 more head studs

O-ring

O-ring 2

Head studs of death

How do you torque these f*ckers

Outside studs

Hollowed B pillar

Yeah, Rods and mains had to be loosened up alittle. Rings are ready to go except for #8-2nd ring was cut too big. I'm gonna hang the rods tonight and maybe get a couple in.

Get a crows foot on those hard ones to torque but remember if the crows foot is straight out and not at a 90 degree angle on the torque wrench it adds like 10% to the torque number.

Thanks kyle, I've got standard 1.5" threaded inlet and outlet I am going to swap on the radiator. The top is a threaded fitting so its a piece of cake to switch. The bottom is going to be cut off and I'll reweld it. I've got 1.5" SS tubing to use between the radiator and water pump. I'm still debating meziere water pump and possibly a remote water pump.
Phil

is there any reason you cant have the wastegates upside down, so they're "underneath" the pipes and out of the way?
