Cam, 1BADAIR thats the info I was looking for basicly you both went slower when the car was dropped to much. I was thinking about the sportlines but I heard they were to much of a drop. Thanks guys
The most logical reason for this is it lost LCA ANGLE moving the instant center too far forward.
A tube chasiss car is sitting on the ground but has no problems hooking.
This is Rick Intrau's old car, it sits on the ground, notice how far the rear mount of the lower control arm is away from the rear end to give the angle back. This shoves the tire into the track.

Exactly. Easy fix if you can lower the rear of the control arm but I have relocation brackets installed ( I think they are BMR but cant recall ) and they dont allow enough arm drop. Hence why I am modding them to drop even lower by welding more plate around and adding a fourth hole. This way i can stay bitchin looking and maintain true street trim and still hook hard when i hit the track

actually my car sits lower with the cut stock springs and it was quicker. I know of another local that swapped out the eibach springs for cut stockers and his 60ed better and more consitant that way too. He also drilled another hole lower in his relocation brackets to get the LCA angle cause his car is very low

Yes I am about to do the same thing, But my tire bulge is in the way. I will have to make something like the above picture and attach it to my LCA relocation bracket to lower it down.

How many coils did you cut out of the front and back and what shocks are you running?
don't remember how many. Stopped cutting when I got to the ride height I wanted.
Fronts are qa1's with 325lbs springs. rear shocks are tokico 5 ways
are they the R series or the regular 12 way adjustable.. i was looking into some QA1's with 300lb springs but im also on the factor WS6 wheels and a 26in DR

does your tokicos actually work? when i try to adjust them i can turn them alot...does yours have stop in them so that you know your in position 1 or 5?
car is @ 1.5" lower all around. qa1 kit up front cut v6 springs rear qa1 shocks
the full bmr line up is under the car exept for a TRZ rear sway bar.
17" mt drag radials
updated, i now use a trz antiroll kit
this is the cars current best pass 8.73 on a 1.35 short time, car weighs 3825# now
