Default Weather and ET

I ran my car in March in 60 degree weather and went 12.705. Put Greg weld wheels and DS2's on, lost 59lbs with the wheel swap. Went to the track Fri.
in 80 degree weather and went 12.740.
Kind a disapointed I didn't pick up at least a tenth.
How much would a 20 degree temp change affect ET.

Thanks

http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_hp_dp.htm

Plug all the weather numbers from both days into this calculator, and you can come up with a relative HP correction factor.

Not just temp, but barometric pressure and humidity affects HP, esp on an N/A car.

20 degrees is a big change man. dont feel bad. i have a 79 ta drag car. in like 55 degrees it went 10.59 @126.1 with a 1.44 60'. this was with a 4.11 gear in a brand new moser 12bolt, falling on its face before 1000ft. changed to a 3.73 and went 10.59@126.78 in 79 degrees and much more humidity. kinda disappointed at first but after i thought about it, it made sense

The D/A can affect et alot more than that.I have found that the barometric pressure and humidity affects et alot more than temperature does but thats just my opinion.I have slowed down as much as 5 tenths from D/A.Usually at my local track the D/A is about +1000 to +1400 however I have seen it as low as negitive 1700 and as high as +3500ish.Track altitude is +660ft

.

+1, pressure & humidity numbers are much more important on the DA & ET.
