| 408 - ported L92 heads -236/248 RPM L92 Cam - TH400 - 9 inch DYNO RESULTS w/ new cam!
This is an apples to apples comparison. Not the best pull from each cam. Best IIRC was 455 on the old one and 473 or something on the new one. Can't remember.
Previous cam was a 236/236 grind from Synergy Motorsports
New cam is a 236/248 from Real Performance Motorsports
I didnt get to see the specs on the Synergy cam before buying it..... but went ahead and put it in because I believe the "soft" lobes was the way to go with such a big 270cc head. I am sure it will now perform better on the bottle too! Since nitrous likes lots of exhaust duration and doesnt need the intake as much to work.
Cant wait to get some timeslips. Previous best was a 7.30 NA on motor at 3870lbs with driver.
