Let's not race dynos. Besides, that tranny and driveline SOAK power so this won't be a dyno queen. Bet it runs though...

if i recall correctly, Ed is not a big believer in FAST porting (single digit gains, Ed?). i'd pull my FAST off of the 416 and send it to you, though........lol.

we took the intake completely apart. ported the openings, runners, and opened up the mouth.

and Ed, feel free to PM me or call me. I have no problem if you think something is wrong....because like I said, we thought something might be wrong as well.

thats why I dont intend to be "selling" port jobs untill I have done several and confirmed the gains.

UPDATE!!!

Here is a graph of an 06 GTO we did this morning. Strapped the car down, made a pull, pulled the intake, ported, reinstalled and made another pull.

The car is heavily modded and made 450rwhp before the addition of a stall. The stall cost him quite a bit, we got some of it back with the port job.

The results on this car werent nearly as strong as the previous car, so I just dont know what to think about that one. We did pick up solid horsepower and torque though.

We wont be doing any mail order port jobs, but if someone wants to bring the car to the shop, we will strap it down, make a pull, pull the intake, port, reinstall and make a couple of final pulls all for 200.00

I think thats the best way to do it. That way, the customer is there to see exactly what is done, and is there to see the dyno pulls so they know exactly what they are getting.

well, I think these newest results are more in line with reality.

I have no idea how we picked up so much on the previous one, but the last thing I want to do is mislead anyone.

So I posted these results to let people know this is probably more in line with what to actually expect.
