Default 2010 Camaro SS FAST LSX-R 102mm results

Bone stock 2010 Camaro SS. Stock 90mm TB. No tuning.

Back to back comparison. Made a baseline pull, swapped intakes, and made final pull. To Comp Cams/ FASTs credit, these gains are actually more than they claimed in their advertising (14/11 flywheel power)

Just under 14rwhp gain peak to peak.
Right at 11rwtq gain peak to peak.

The gains are higher throughout the band. Max gains were 15rwhp and 15rwtq in several places throughout the curve.

overall IMO decent gains for a stock vehicle. however I do not believe this intake is being allowed to perform up to its potential on a stock vehicle. Again that is only my opinion, others may think differently.

As soon as we have a modded car to do some testing on, we will give you an update.

Thanks.

I'm impressed! Stock build+untouched intake.

I consider those very good results. Can't wait to see the results on a built 403+.

Well Kevin order one up and show us the results. I know you have been waiting on this intake for a long time. Show us what your engine is capable of I want to see 540rwhp out of your setup.

Thanks for posting the results. I would say they are pretty good results considering bone stock car and no tuning.

You don't have a 102tb you could slap on there and go make another pull do you?

did you order the inj spacers at the same time or just have them from the fuel rail kits?

Playing devil's advocate..........

So the million dollar question for most people out there with L76/LS3 intakes would be how much power does this intake make on a modded car, over a ported GM unit?

we ordered a set of spacers. they are not the same as the old style.

Also I want to point out a really nice thing they designed into this intake. There are provisions for the MAP sensor both in the front, and in the rear of the intake.

The holes are blank. You will need to drill a hole in whichever location you want to use.

Im sure that question will be answered soon enough by another shop once they get their intakes next week.

We simply didnt have access to a modded car with a ported stock intake to do a comparison.

My opinion is that this intake will do very well. How well? I suppose we will know soon enough.

speaking in specualtion, IF you used say an LS2 injector instead of those spacers to move the spray pattern to where it normally was without the spacers, do you think you would notice a difference?

Looks like the tune is pig rich too. Probably about 400 RWHP tuned. I think a bolt-on LS3 SS is gonna hit 450 RWHP sometime soon. Nice work.

Nice gains for a bone stock car with no tune.

Awesome. With some tuning, I'm sure it will pick up a lot more.

14-15whp gain over a stock ls3 is pretty good. considering thats what the fast 92 gets over the ls6, id say it works pretty well.

Jeff, do you plan on porting it? I know you had pretty good results when porting a fast before.

spectre,

I dont think we are going to try and port one of these at this time. Maybe later when we get another batch in.

These intakes are made completely different than the 92s.
