the motor had'nt peaked yet at 7980 where the computer wont allow more RPM...went 9.60s first pass...first time out at 143-144mph short shiftin at 7400 http://videos.streetfire.net/video/R...ZO6_709173.htm
what ive gathered
1st Pass --9.68 2nd Pass -- 9.67 3rd Pass -- 9.72 4th Pass --9.64
not sure if he's changed headers from ARH 1 7/8 so some custom set made by them? Is that still through his GHLs I know ARH is making a full 3" catback...he shoudl give that a try if hes still running through 2.5" catack or maybe hes got cutouts
roller cam
tfs 245heads
4.10 gears
104 octane
Im curious as the what type of valvetrain parts hes got to run to 8k like that
Car sounds sick...good job guys...expect low 9s outta this setup in better weather?
Kurt

Don't be doubtin. I stood there and watched it with my own eyes. Was there for the 1/4 mile passes too.
Fairly exotic setup. Nothing that couldn't be reproduced if someone had the money. The driving on the other hand, there's alot in the setup that allows him to drive it the way he does. Plus he's got the experience of countless passes.
Congrats Rob even though I know you are banned from here. Low 9's are in that car for sure when its all together and the cold weather rolls in.
For the doubters keep doubting, this isn't some off the shelf stroker build with a Fast 90 lol. BTW those numbers are on an honest reading Mustang Dyno not one thats been corrected to read like a dynojet. Car would probably make 660 on a dynojet SAE!
Dont be a doubter... I'm another guy who lended a hand during the build. Then raced with him on Friday. I stood behind his car on the track and personally whatch him row through the gears flawlessly to come up with a 9.64 at 144 on his very vurst pass on the new setep... I ran a 9.68 at 144 with a stroked 402 and 250 hp dirctet port... He beat me Na, He's super impressive... Robz, you rock...
Doesn't matter how much his intake cost he ran 9.98 @ 139 mph with a head cam 346 ls1 before this motor. He puts a lot of time into making everything perfect and it pays off.
